Service Description

Starting school is a big step. Our Pre-School Prep Class helps tots (1 - 3.5 yrs) transition into school by offering a gentle balance of child-led play, structured and  unstructured activities, helping children develop the confidence, and familiarity with  routine to prepare for school. Children will participate in structured circle time where they practice listening, following simple rules through songs, stories  and movement. During unstructured play children are encouraged to explore, imagine and make choices at their own pace for curiosity to grow independently. Little steps towards a confident and joyous start to school. ✔️ Kind teachers who support your child’s journey ✔️ Enriching activities that build social skills and attention spans ✔️ Step-by-step activities to develop independence 10:00 - 10:15 Free Play 15 minutes of free play, giving children time to explore their surroundings, connect with their teachers and friends, and become comfortable in the new environment. Through familiar routines  and positive interactions, we help children feel safe and ready to participate. 10:15 - 10:30 Circle Time we will come together for circle time, where children will enjoy songs, music and dance. 10:30 - 10:40 Art Session Art encourages creativity and fine-motor development as children enjoy creating their own piece. 10:40 - 10:50 Movements and Games children will take part in movement and games, including parachute play, an obstacle course and throwing balls into baskets. These activities help develop gross motor skills, coordination and balance while encouraging children to follow simple instructions, take turns and work together. 10:50 - 11:00 Story Time To finish the class, we  come together again in a circle for story time.
